Josh Edis
Josh has spearheaded business strategy, commercialisation, operations and investor relations activities for multiple international marketing technology, data and financial technology companies over the past 27 years. As an entrepreneurial co-founder, Board director and strategic advisor, Josh has been a catalyst for driving investment, new business growth and partnership activities across the North American, European and Australian markets.
With a proven track record in identifying and driving new business growth initiatives and go-to-market strategies for both early stage and global enterprise businesses, Josh has spearheaded a variety of strategic partnerships, m&a transactions, technology licensing and distribution partnerships with some of the world's leading technology, marketing and data companies, including the likes of Telstra, Equifax, Google, Yahoo!, AdSlot, Lexer, Adacado.com, Signal.co (a TransUnion Company) and Krux (a Salesforce company).
As a co-founder, director and C-level executive at APRIL (previously Limepay), he led capital raising activities with institutional and private investment groups to successfully raise over $31M during 2019-2021, enabling the company to rapidly scale to become one of the fastest growing embedded finance technology solution companies in the APAC region.
Natalie O'Brien
Natalie has been a leader across business strategy, commercialisation, product, payment, compliance and technology, data and financial technology for over 15 years.
Natalie is a Product and Compliance professional across various industries both small to enterprise that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, and close customers. Natalie has developed products and consulting services such as Deloitte, Westpac, PayPal and other Fintechs.
Natalie has enabled the release of new products and projects with proven results and transformed existing products and services that has reinvigorated company’s processes, customers, employees, and shareholders. Natalie has produced these results for companies in Australia, APAC, US and others.
Alan Manuel
Alan who is Managing Principal of Smarter Solutions is a recognised leader and advisor on the strategy, development and operations of cards, payments, client and industry partner relations, regulatory compliance, risk and data security.
Alan has over 30 years Payments Industry senior management and operational experience in development and operation of fintech start-ups, financial institutions and other payment industry entities. This has included building and management of customer, third party service providers, industry and regulatory bodies relations and compliance. This includes development of the 24 hour card and customer centres and the first contactless transactions on a financial institution card and card verification value (CVV).
Alan is also actively involved in non-profit sporting and charitable groups and is currently the Treasurer of the International Anti-Slavery Commission.
